Bharat lives to bring happiness and peace in the world – Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji

Bhubaneswar, 15 August. Today on the occasion of Independence Day, RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji hoisted the national flag in a program organized by Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti, Bhubaneswar. Addressing the people present here on this occasion, he said that it has been seventy-eight years since independence. When we think about the years of efforts to achieve it, it comes to mind that the first attempt to get freedom from the British slavery was made in 1857 and since then this effort continued continuously, through many ways. Armed or unarmed, people kept sacrificing their lives, kept going to jail for three generations. Circumstances kept changing but the society and leaders of that time continued all these efforts until the circumstances became favorable for independence.

He said that I myself was born after independence. After 78 years, we have to try hard to remember the efforts made for the country’s independence because our ancestors earned it. We got it without any effort but it took a lot of hard work to earn it and it will take hard work to keep it too. He said that “Independence has Swa and system (Tantra). When the system works on the basis of Swa, then Swatantra comes. Bharat is a country with a uniqueness. It lives to bring happiness and peace in the world. It lives to give Dharma to the world. That is why there is Dharmachakra in the center of our national flag. This Dharma takes everyone together, unites everyone, and uplifts everyone. That is why it gives happiness to everyone in this world and the other world. Bharat is there to give this Dharma to the world, this is our specialty.

He said that the country became independent on 15th August 1947. The British left and this country came under the rule of our own people. Everyone in our country should get happiness, security, peace and prestige and the world which is faltering today, looking at the problems of the world, even after doing many experiments for two thousand years, it has not found solutions to the problems. On the basis of our vision, it is our duty to give a solution to create a new world of peace and happiness, that we ourselves should create it and create the world.

Such a task is before our country, for which we all will have to do the same hard work, same sacrifice and same sacrifice as our ancestors did to get us this freedom.

He said that while fighting for independence, our ancestors did not think that work will be done when the favorable situation comes. Even knowing that the favorable situation is not there right now, they kept this feeling alive in the public mind through continuous efforts. Similarly, without thinking about the situation, we will have to ensure happiness, peace, unity, respect for everyone, prestige of our country. Along with this, we have to establish a Vishwa Guru Bharat, which will create a happy and beautiful world by solving the problems like conflict-free, environmental problems in the world. Let us all remember this duty of ours today.

He said that in our national flag, saffron color is on the top. It is the color of sacrifice, hard work, knowledge. Similarly, white color, which is a symbol of pure character and purity, is in the middle and when these two come together, people of pure character with selfless intellect. When we work with sacrifice, work hard, worship knowledge, then prosperity comes. That prosperity is the color of Lakshmi, this color is green. We have to do all this on the basis of Dharma. Therefore, the Dharma Chakra in our national flag tells us what to do and how to do it. Similarly, all of us should remember our duty and move forward in our lives by taking small resolutions in the direction of that duty. Like these days the swayamsevaks of the Sangh talk about Panch Parivartan. Similarly, with small resolutions, such changes will be brought in the society, in the country, and due to that in the world. He said that starting with such small changes, one should start the work of moving forward on the path of duty.
