Kollam. DYFI workers attacked Seva Bharati ambulance from nearby Kannamath Sree Bhadra Devi Temple in Uliyakovil, Kollam. Uliyakovil native Sarath was injured when the incident occurred. The attack took place under the leadership of DYFI workers Manu, Adarsh, and Kitu. The party members have stolen Rs. 5,000 from the driver’s pocket.
The incident was happened at Saturday night. The ambulance was blocked by the intoxicated activists, who also knocked the driver out of his seat and assaulted him severely.
The money that the activist had stolen from Sarath was reserved to fuel the vehicle. Seva Bharati Nagar Samiti had lodged a report at the East Police Station before Sarath was transferred to the hospital.
