Vaikom, Kerala. RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale Ji said that the Vaikom Satyagraha is truly a guiding light for the social transformation efforts of the RSS. The Vaikom Satyagraha achieved success by bringing together people belonging to different sections of the society. RSS is working to make Bharat victorious by coordinating people with nationalistic mindset. It is through organised efforts that a nation becomes prosperous. Through an organised society, service and safety of the nation can also be assured.
He was speaking at the Kottayam Vibhag Sanghik held at Vaikom Beach Ground on the occasion of Vaikom Satyagraha Centenary Celebrations. Thousands of RSS Swayamsevaks from Vaikom, Ponkunnam and Kottayam Sangh districts participated in the event. He said that RSS is fulfilling the goals and vision propounded by the historic Vaikom Satyagraha. This gathering is a symbol of gratitude towards the activists and fighters like K. Kelappan, T.K. Madhavan and Mannathu Padmanabhan.
Veer Savarkar founded the Patit-Pavan Temple holding the same ideal. The message of this social harmony is the guiding light of RSS as well. Through Shakhas, swayamsevaks have made this inclusive behaviour an inevitable part of their life itself. It was at Prayagraj, the proclamation ‘Na Hindu patito bhavet’ was done under the leadership of Shri. Guruji. In Udupi, various sages together chater the mantra ‘Hindava Sodara Sarve’ (All Hindus are brothers).
Present Saranghchalak Mohan Bhagwat Ji also stressed the same point through his exhortation that Temples, Public Wells and Cemeteries should be open for all people, of all class and sects.
RSS is heading towards its centenary celebrations with five axis principles during this period. They are Family Doctrine that strengthens family ties and culture, Social Harmony, Environmental Protection, inculcation of sense of Patriotism, and inculcation of ideal Civic Sense.
Referring to the G20, Dattatreya Hosabale Ji said that, an organized and resourceful Bharat would be a boon to the world. The G20 concluded with the message “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. Growth in various sectors which drive Bharat’s growth is truly Inspirational.
