ପୁରୀ: ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପଶି ସୁରକ୍ଷାକର୍ମୀଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଜଣେ ନିଶାଡ଼ି ବିଦେଶୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକ । ସୂଚନା ଅନୁସାରେ ଥୋମାସ କ୍ରେଜ ସେଲଡନ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ବ୍ରିଟିସ୍ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକ ବେଳାଭୂମି ନିକଟରେ ନିଶା ସେବନ କରୁଥିଲେ । ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ଅନୁସାରେ ଥୋମାସଙ୍କୁ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁଳ ଥାନା ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଥିଲା । ପୁରୀର ଏକ ଆଶ୍ରମରେ ରହୁଥିବା ଥୋମାସଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ଥାନାରେ ଅଣ୍ଡରଟେକିଂ ଲେଖି ନେଇ ଯାଇଥିଲେ । ପରବର୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ଥୋମାସ ଶ୍ରୀ ମନ୍ଦିର ଭିତରେ ପଶିବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ କରୁଥିଲେ । ବେହରଣ ଦ୍ୱାର ନିକଟରେ ସୁରକ୍ଷାକର୍ମୀଙ୍କ ସହ ସେ ବଚସା କରିବା ସହ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିଥିଲେ । ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ବିଦେଶୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକଙ୍କୁ କାବୁ କରି ପୋଲିସର ଘଟଣାର ତଦନ୍ତ କରୁଛି ।
