ଲକ୍ଷ୍ନୌ: ସମାଜବାଦୀ ପାର୍ଟିର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ଆଜମ ଖାନଙ୍କ ପରେ ଏବେ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁଅ ଅବଦୁଲ୍ଲା ଆଜମଙ୍କ ବିଧାନସଭା ସଦସ୍ୟତା ପଦ ରଦ୍ଦ ହୋଇଛି । ୟୁପି ବିଧାନସଭା ସଚିବାଳୟ ଅବଦୁଲ୍ଲା ଆଜମଙ୍କ ଆସନ ଖାଲି ପଡିଥିବା ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛି । ସୋମବାର ମୋରାଦାବାଦର ଏକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର କୋର୍ଟ ଏସପି ସାଧାରଣ ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଆଜମ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ବିଧାୟକ ପୁଅ ଅବଦୁଲ୍ଲା ଆଜମଙ୍କୁ ୧୫ ବର୍ଷ ପୁରୁଣା ମାମଲାରେ ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଅବଦୁଲ୍ଲା ରାମପୁରର ସୁଆର ଆସନରୁ ବିଧାୟକ ଥିଲେ । ଲୋକ ପ୍ରତିନିଧୀ ଅଧିନିୟମ କହୁଛି, ଦୁଇ ବର୍ଷ କିମ୍ବା ତା’ଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହୋଇଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ତାରିଖରୁ ଅଯୋଗ୍ୟ କରାଯିବ ଏବଂ ଜେଲରେ ରହିବା ପରେ ଏହି ଅଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ୬ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଜାରି ରହିବ । ଆଜମ ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ୨୦୨୨ରେ ବିଧାନସଭା ସଦସ୍ୟତା ପଦ ରଦ୍ଦ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।
